Dr. Leul Girma Haylemariam is a distinguished scholar and researcher with extensive expertise in international management, innovation, and sustainable development. Holding a Ph.D. in Intercultural Relations and International Management from the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT), he has developed a profound understanding of how digital transformation and entrepreneurial agility drive organizational success in diverse global contexts. His academic journey is marked by a multidisciplinary approach, underpinned by an MSc in Business Management from Sapienza University of Rome and an MA in Marketing and Communications from Rome Business School.
Dr. Haylemariam is a prolific contributor to academic discourse, having authored over a dozen peer-reviewed research papers published in high-impact international journals such as Business Strategy and the Environment, Management Research Review, and the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal. His research often explores the intersection
of Big Data analytics, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and environmental performance, particularly within the context of social enterprises and SMEs. His recent work includes the Ph.D. thesis "Women Entrepreneurship: Business Models for Frugal Innovation in an Emerging Economy," which highlights his commitment to inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
At EIIET, Dr. Haylemariam brings this wealth of global research and teaching experience to the faculty, bridging the gap between complex theoretical frameworks and real-world business applications. His previous tenure as a Teaching Assistant saw him guiding students in Luxury & Fashion Management, International Sales, and Marketing Management, ensuring EIIET students benefit from a curriculum grounded in international standards.
With a professional background that includes public service in research and advocacy and over a decade of engagement within European educational institutions, Dr. Haylemariam strengthens EIIET's mission of providing interdisciplinary, research-led education, and to empower the next generation of leaders at EIIET to navigate the digital and sustainable transformation of the global economy.
