Dr. Nazir Yosufi is a distinguished scholar and researcher in international relations, development studies, and global governance, holding a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. His education also includes an MBA and BBA, showcasing a multidisciplinary approach that merges international business with policy analysis. His primary research concentrates on European and German development assistance in Afghanistan, focusing on aid effectiveness and post-conflict reconstruction, highlighted by his doctoral thesis covering European assistance in Afghanistan from 2002 to 2017.
Dr. Yosufi actively contributes to academic discourse through various publications, research articles, and presentations at international conferences, focusing on issues related to global development and Afghanistan studies. He also co-authored educational materials, including a Pashto language handbook, aiming to facilitate youth development and cross-cultural understanding.
At EIIET, he combines academic rigor with practical teaching experience, having previously delivered courses on Afghan history and culture. His teaching philosophy promotes critical thinking and interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world issues. His professional experience includes educational program development and collaboration with international partners, reflecting his commitment to fostering a globally oriented academic environment and enhancing students' understanding of international affairs and development challenges.
